Our products are handmade in small batches using quality ingredients chosen for their rich texture, creamy feel and skin-conditioning benefits.
Where possible, we choose naturally derived and cruelty-free ingredients, without unnecessary fillers or harsh synthetic foaming agents.

Our brand was created by two people blending their cultures together: Prezu from West Africa and Madam from Australia.
From that fusion came Roar Afro Oz — a small-batch skincare brand inspired by African botanicals, Australian handmade craft, and real ingredients that feel rich, nourishing and purposeful on the skin.
Our products are made in Melbourne using ingredients such as tallow, tigernut oil, tigernut milk, nourishing butters and botanical infusions.
Tigernut is our hero botanical.
Naturally rich and earthy, tigernut brings a unique story to our soaps, balms and skin products. We use tigernut oil, tigernut milk and tigernut-inspired formulations to create body care that feels creamy, gentle and skin-loving.
Tigernut is valued in skincare because it contains naturally occurring fatty acids, vitamin E and antioxidants that help support the look and feel of soft, smooth, moisturised skin.
Tallow has been used for generations as a traditional skin-conditioning ingredient.
At Roar Afro Oz, we use purified grass-fed tallow in selected products because of its rich, creamy texture and skin-conditioning feel. In handmade soap, tallow helps create a firm bar with a creamy, gentle cleanse.
Tallow and tigernut work beautifully together.
Tigernut brings the plant-based botanical story. Tallow brings richness, creaminess and traditional skin-conditioning benefits.
Together, they create body care that feels nourishing, purposeful and different from ordinary handmade skincare.
